CitizenCard is the most widely recognised ID scheme in the UK, offering proof-of-age cards across all age ranges. Cards can be applied for using postal forms available from a wide range of local and national retailers, in schools and colleges, and directly via the website (from where postal forms can also be downloaded).

VALIDATE UK is widely recognised and has operated across the UK for over 12 years. Cards are available for all ages. Information leaflets, retailer and licensee packs and applications forms are available on the website. Cards are produced in English, Welsh and Gaelic.

Young Scot

Young Scot is the national youth information and youth card agency for Scotland. The Young Scot National Entitlement Card (NEC) is a multi-function smartcard supported by the Scottish Government and all 32 local authorities. All Young Scot NECs carry the PASS hologram and cards are available free of charge to all young people aged 11 to 26 living in Scotland. Young people apply for cards through their school or in person at local council offices or libraries.
